    Default Natwest CricHQ App

Just stumbled across this after seeing a tweet from Swanny who appears to be the lead figure for it.

Basically it's a free scoring app for iPhone mainly but can be used on iPad as well. Now what is very handy is that it appears to tie into Play Cricket. To score a game you can search for your stuff on Play Cricket to get fixture info for the game you want to score then also links to show you players to add into the team before scoring. There is also an option to upload to Play Cricket once the game is finished.

Not sure how the league see the using off it but it appears to be a very useful little app.

Heres a link to it on the app store :-

You'd get a huge headache scoring a full league match with it on any sort of iThingy. It's not as mature or comprehensive a product as TCS, which is the weapon of choice now for 'serious' scorers, and I have had issues from people trying to use it in conjunction with play-cricket.

I've had a quick play and it looks ok to be honest on an iPad with the bigger screen area but might be harder on he iPhone. Can't comment on the play cricket integration other than the download of fixtures and players works fine.

Looks good, will try it sometime but going to use TCS to score our U17 games and send live scores to the website if I can work out how to get the widget to work.
