Elvaston announce travel details for Lord's Elvaston Cricket Club play Swansea Valley side Ynystawe in the Wadworth 6X Village Cup final at Lord's on Sunday September 9th.
Club president John Lindsay is making all the arrangements and he can be contacted at home on 01332 663134 or on his mobile on 07929 282527. Please note, John is the only person to contact to guarantee a seat. The game will start at 11:00am, so the coaches will leave early on Sunday morning and will return early Sunday evening. Times will be announced later. Elvaston will meet Swansea Valley side Ynystawe who beat St Margaretsbury by nine runs in the semi-final after bowling them out for 157 in the last over. After the semi-final, Ynystawe vice-captain Rowan Evans said: " Celebrations went on for a while. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and are all looking forward to our day at Lord's." After their semi-final victory over Wolviston, Elvaston skipper Richard Johnson (pictured) said: "It was a great game and a great day for the club. We are looking forward to Lord's." Sting In The Tail will be there to see the Derbyshire lads lift the trophy to become only the third team to complete a hat-trick of final victories following their successes in 1994 and last year. Why not come along and see Elvaston fly the flag for Derbyshire club cricket? Admission is free and it is a great day out.
