Ticknall 3rds lift Harry Lund Trophy

Ticknall 3rds 218-8 beat Sandiacre 3rds 194 by 24 runs

Ticknall's batting was dominated by the Borrington family. Father Tony, the ex Derbyshire opening bat, made 111 not out and his thirteen year old son Paul scored 33. Best bowling for Sandiacre was by Jason Loydall who took 3-44.

Sandiacre came close but were bowled out for their first defeat of the season, with the damage being done by young Paul Borrington (3-35) and Qayyum ( 3-26). There were good knocks for Sandiacre by Bob Bourne (50), Pete Kendrick (30) and Michael Hart (34).
