New owzat-cricket showroom opens

Local midweek league and Derbyshire County Cricket League Divisional sponsors, owzat-cricket, part of the Mitchell Sports Group opened their new all year round cricket showroom at 10.00 am on Friday 6 December, at 72 Mansfield Road, South Normanton.

Already recognised as Derbyshire's number one cricket equipment specialist, this re-opening will see owzat-cricket move further ahead with both their increased showroom space (1,000 sq ft) and wider range of cricket brands and equipment.

Derbyshire players Karl Krikken (pictured right) and Kevin Dean attended the opening along with representatives from the leading cricket companies.

The occasion also saw Chesterfield's Dave Adams accept his Sting in the Tail Cricketer of the Year Award, a £100 owzat-cricket voucher presented by Andrew Mitchell, owner of the company. Adams is pictured below trying out a new V200 from owzat's extensive Slazenger range.

Normal opening times are 9.30am - 5.30 pm Monday to Saturday and in the run up to Christmas they will be opening on Sundays from 10am - 4pm. So no need to be depressed about the Ashes, get down to owzat-cricket for some pre Christmas cheer.
