Derbyshire Leagues issue provisional fixture list

Saturday April 23rd 2005 is the date that all Derbyshire League players and followers will need to put into their diaries. This is the date that the opening games of the new season will take place. The season closes with the re-vamped Premier Cup final on Sunday 11th September 2005.

The following are key dates from the 2005 fixtures list:

Sunday 24th April	Cockspur Cup starts
Sat 30th April / Sun 1st May	Premier League double header weekend
Sunday 1st May	Village Cup regional rounds start *
Saturday 7th / Sunday 8th May	County League double header weekend
Wednesday 18th May	Butterley Cup starts *
Sunday 22nd May	County League cups start
Sunday 29th May	Premier Cup starts
Wednesday 8th June	Jackson Cup starts *
Sunday 12th June	League Cricket Conference President's Trophy starts
Sunday 10th July	Village Cup national rounds start *
Wednesday 15th July	Butterley Cup final *
Wednesday 22nd July	Jackson Cup final *
Sunday 14th August	James Harwood Cup final
Sunday 21st August	Wright Cup final
Sunday 28th August	Bayley Cup final
Monday 29th August	Silver Link Trophy and Harry Lund Cup finals
Sat 3rd / Sun 4th September	Premier League and County League double header weekend
Sunday 4th September	LCC President's Trophy and Village Cup (*) finals
Thursday 8th September	Cockspur Cup final *
Sunday 11th September	Premier Cup and LCC President's Trophy Plate finals

If the representative side reaches the final of the League Cricket Conference President's Trophy, the Premier League fixtures from Sunday 4th September will be moved to Saturday 10th September.
