Early revenge bid for Bassetlaw

In one of the big shocks of the 2005 Cedric Rhoades Cup, the Mansfield & District Sunday League pulled off a major coup when they accounted for the Bassetlaw & District League side in the quarter finals of the competition. Now the Bassetlaw League have a quick chance of revenge when the two sides meet at Central Avenue, Worksop this Sunday at 2.00 p.m.

The Mansfield League side went on to the semi-finals before losing in last year’s competition and will be keen to repeat that success. The teams are as follows:-
