Derbyshire pros launch coaching academy Derbyshire first team player Chris Taylor has set up a coaching academy for young cricketers in the Derby and Nottingham areas during this coming winter. The academy, which is set to start during the October half term, is called the 'ProCricketCoachingAcademy' and the aim is to improve the skills, the technique, the mental strength and the confidence of our young cricketers.
The coaching will take place in the Gateway Centre at the County Ground and course details are as follows:
Also available is individual coaching which involves batting against a bowling machine in a net with your own coach. This is intense coaching and a great way to improve your game. The cost of individual training is £25 per half hour and £45 per hour. Four seperate hours can be booked for the special price of £150. Any age is welcome, including adults.
Taylor (pictured right) continued: "Any clubs in the Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire area requiring coaching at club nets during October to March should contact us. We have already signed up clubs for expert coaching to improve their teams for the 2007 season. Please email for our rates and what we can offer."
