Coaching Academy organise further courses

Following the success of their first two courses, ProCricketCoachingAcademy have organised further coaching courses. The initial courses, held over the Autumn Half Term holiday, were attended by 90 children and the feedback from parents was 'overwhelmingly positive'.

Run by Derbyshire first team player Chris Taylor (pictured), along with Graeme Welch, Steve Stubbings, Hassan Adnan and Greg Smith, the next courses will be held early in the New Year. Dates are as follows:

6 to 11 year olds - 14th and 21st January from 9am till 1pm (Sunday mornings)

12-17 year olds on the 28th January and the 4th February from 9am till 1pm (Sunday mornings).

Taylor told 'the follow on': "We will be working on batting drills, bowling drills and some interesting new fielding drills. The youngsters will also have the opportunity to chat to experienced Test and County players."

The players are also offering regular individual coaching for batsmen wanting to improve their game, which involves batting against a bowling machine in a net with your own coach. This is intense coaching and a great way to improve your game. The usual cost is £45 an hour, but 'the follow on' readers can claim a £5 discount.
