Bassetlaw representative match set for Cuckney
by Paul Barker, 16th July 2007

The Cedric Rhoades Cup competition clicks into gear this Sunday 22nd July when the Bassetlaw League side play their counterparts from the Durham Coast League at Langwith Road, Cuckney. The match gets under way at 2.00 p.m. and was previously scheduled for Central Avenue, Worksop but with the recent inclement weather and the flooding there the venue has been changed.

This is a quarter-final tie with the winners going into the semi-final. The bar will be open all day and anyone wishing to watch the match is cordially invited by the Bassetlaw League and the Cuckney Club to come along and enjoy the excellent facilities that the club has to offer.

The Bassetlaw League side is: Will Butler (captain), Elliott Hind (wicketkeeper), Tom Ullyott, Steve Randall, Steve Bentley (all Cuckney), Lee Topham (Glapwell), Andy Carter (Farnsfield), Simon Davison (Bridon), Ian Flood (Notts. & Arnold Amateur), Glenn Pym and John Smith (Worksop).
