Refresher course at Hasland

With the Cricket season only a few weeks away a refresher course will be held at the New Inn at Winsick, Hasland near Chesterfield on Monday’s 26th March and 2nd April. These two courses will take place at 7.30 p.m. and are open to all current umpires and would-be umpires who are just about to start officiating.

The local leagues are still desperate for officials and the situation is now critical. As we have pointed out on many occasions of late this is a position which is open to both males and females and anybody who has enjoyed themselves as a player can still be involved in the middle which is the only place to be when physical ability is in decline and you can no longer go through the rigours of playing.
