Stags stars set for Welbeck fundraiser

Welbeck Colliery Cricket Club are to host a charity Twenty20 cricket match at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex at Sookholme on Bank Holiday Monday, 5th May 2008. The host club has issued a challenge to Mansfield Town Football Club, who are expected to send a team consisting mainly of first team players.

The Welbeck team will be made up of players ranging from their under 11s to the first team and the event is being held to promote youth cricket in the area. The main event will start at 2:00pm, but there are a host of other attractions on the day. These include:

          • On site DJ
          • Balloon Race
          • Hook a Duck
          • Bucking Bronco
          • Bouncy Castle
          • Barbeque

The day's activities are sponsored by Rainworth Skoda and an official schedule for the day's events will be available nearer the day. More information is available from the club.
