Killamarsh spring a surprise but Park go top Killamarsh sprang the surprise of the week ending Blidworth's six match winning run and knocking them down to third place in the division. Killamarsh won by a six wicket margin with five overs to spare. It was Mansfield Hosiery Mills popular Sri Lankan all rounder KC that did most of the damage. After taking 3 for 7 in 10 balls, he scored 20 not out and, together with Paul Burdett, 20 not out, made light work of Blidworths 53 all out total. Kiveton Park go top and show the benefit of batting first racking up 124 for 5 against Bawtry who replied with 83 for 5, losing their fourth game in a row after starting the season well. If they want to hang to sixth place, and a play-off spot, they will have to improve in the final two weeks of the season. Cuckney Cowboys go second thanks to 37 not out by Will Butler, winning a tight game with Thoresby Park by only one wicket. Clowne Town's Dale Steers ended MGTs resistance with a hat trick as his side won by 31 runs. Blidworth still have the chance to take the title with games against Kiveton Park and Cuckney Cowboys in the last two weeks, but with a very poor runs for total they will probably have to win both games. On Monday Langold's reward for tying with high flying Barmy Army was to slip to bottom place, by virtue of The Mafia beating Glapwell by one wicket, with Chris Murphy in top form with 50 not out. Poor running between the wicket cost Edwinstowe the chance of replacing Tea Bags at the top with three run outs cutting their innings short on 59 all out chasing a modest 98 to win. Cuckney Terriers will be hoping in form Shireoaks can do them a favour in the last week of the Wednesday league by ending the last remaining 100% record in all the leagues by beating Shirebrook. At the other end of the table, Done & Dusted have one last chance to record a win after losing this week to Shireoaks by a hefty 67 run margin, and Tricky Trees will be hoping to take Walesby's play-off with their last game against lowly Bilsthorpe, while Walesby play Cuckney Terriers.
