Steady scoring down the order kept Whitwell in touch, and with two balls to go the scores were level, before a dot ball and a run out off the last ball gave Edwinstowe their third tie of the season and Whitwell their second, including the one they inherited from The Mafia from the corresponding match from week three. The winning margin of seven wickets did not reflect the closeness of the Cuckney Terriers win over Teversal as only three balls remained of a hard fought encounter.
