Improving Thoresby Park send Killamarsh crashing The only close finish on Sunday was the 14 run win by league leaders Clowne over Cuckney Cowboys. Killamarsh lost for the second week running going down to a hefty 49 run defeat at the hands of improving Thoresby Park. On Monday, Langold came within a whisker of ending Tea Bags 23 game winning run. Danny Brown saved the day with 27 not out as Bags struggled to knock off the modest 76 run target to win off the last ball of the game by one wicket. Shirebrook also had to work hard to preserve their winning start to the season, this time against lowly Teversal who were left regretting the unused 10 balls of their innings as they were bowled out for 70 in the 13th over. Shirebrook limped over the line on 74 for 6 with only two balls left. The play-offs this season will be between the top six in the Sunday and Monday Leagues and the top four from Wednesday.
