Winless Raptors brushed aside Killamarsh brushed aside winless Rose Raptors to take sixth place and claim the last play-off spot in the Sunday League Despite losing all nine of their games this season Raptors keep trying and can always be found in the bar after each game reflecting on what might have been, long live the pub teams who play solely for the love of the game. At the other end of the table Clowne completed a 100% record with a 45 run win over disappointing Thoresby Park who have always been play-off regulars in the past and I would expect them to come back strong in the Spring League. Bawtry finished well winning for the second week running, this time hammering Cuckney Cowboys by 45 runs and Clumber Park won the best game of the night, only 16 runsbeing the margin over Mansfield & Pleasley. Some interesting ties in the play-offs. Monday champions Calypso Kids play runners up Mafia, and can Tea Bags get back to winning ways after three defeats on the run against Killamarsh? Could the Dragons cause an upset and topple the Cowboys? I will reveal all in next weeks report. Cheers Steve.
