The quarter finals saw a clean sweep for the Monday division teams although only 1 run decided two of the games. Edwinstowe had an easy 95 run win over Whitwell and Glapwell beat Sunday champions Clowne by 20 runs, but Sas swingers only edged out Blidworth by 1 run and the Marshalls v Cuckney cowboys game was even closer.

Needing four to win off the last ball cowboys could only scramble three and went out by virtue of losing two more wickets. In the semis Glapwell caused an upset by beating previously unbeaten Sas Swingers despite a fine 35 by 16 year old Jamie Jevons. Sas fell 19 runs short of Glapwells 117 for 5 target.

Marshalls were made to fight hard to overcome Edwinstowe's modest 81 all out total but made it with an over to spare. The final was a one sided affair Marshalls making an impressive 130 for 6, four run outs wrecked the Glapwell reply leaving them 68 runs short on 62 all out.

The player of the finals night was 14 year old Greg Andrews with 20 not out in the semis and 32 in the final, added to five tight overs. He looks a great prospect.
