Clowne are the early leaders in the Sunday league winning their third game on the spin with an easy five wicket defeat of MGT. Cowboys broke their duck and inflicted the first defeat on Blidworth. Nomads were another team tasting defeat for the first time in a tight one wicket win by Thoresby Park. Pilsley and Mansfield & Pleasley occupy the other play off places with wins over Woodsetts and Cuckney Terriers.

Glapwell pulled off a great result in the second week of Monday games, beating a strong Rowthorne side that boasted two England international indoor players in its ranks. Springboks hammered Clumber Park by 50 runs, and Thoresby Colliery won the local derby with Edwinstowe. Tea Bags win over The Mafia means that after only two weeks all eight teams in the league have points on the board.

Last season's Saturday league champs Barmy Army are on the march again as the only team with a 100 per cent record in the Thursday league, this week beating Blyth by a massive 72 runs with Matt Page unbeaten on 51. Tricky Trees ended Walesby's winning run with a tight nine run victory. Langold moved into second spot beating Shirebrook in another close encounter.
