Mansfield & Pleasley retain Sunday title No surprises in the last week of league matches with Mansfield & Pleasley retaining their Sunday title with an easy seven wicket defeat of Blidworth. Thoresby Park only just edged out Cuckney Terriers by two wickets and Cuckney Cowboys were left rueing their early season form as they finished fourth after beating Pilsley by four wickets. In the play-offs, favourites Springboks strolled into the semi finals beating Thoresby Colliery by 63 runs. Sunday champs Mansfield & Pleasley also had no problems with a seven wicket win over Langold. Rowthorne Lane Silveres got the better of Clowne by two wickets, and in the best game of the night Barmy Army made it a hit trick of wins by the league winners with a thrilling two wicket win over Thoresby Park with only two balls to spare.
