MGT well deserved the Saturday mini league title beating the spirited young Shireoaks team by 23 runs. Barmy Army started strongly taking good early wickets, but a fight back down the order, and below par fielding left Tea Bags on 126 for 6, a total far out of reach of the young Barmy Army side. A respectable third place finish for Cuckney Terriers, 37 run victors over Renegades.
Pride of place this week goes to Bawtry who broke their league duck in b eating Woodsetts by 34 runs. After 7 overs free scoring Clowne looked to be heading for another huge total on 70 for 3, but good bowling and several run outs saw them bowled out in 12 overs for only 98. Mansfield & Pleasley m ade light work of the total to return to top spot. The highest score of the week was Cuckney Cowboys 139/5, but Blidworth pushed them all the way to finish only 12 runs short on 127/1.
The Monday league sees the only 100% record left, Bridon thrashingThoresby Colliery by 6 wickets.
