Commentary.

Only 4 matches could produce results on Saturday in the Surridge Sport Yorkshire and Derbyshire League and 3 took place in Division 2.

At Millhouses, Khan tormented the SWD II batsmen as he plundered 7-13 as SWD were clattered for just 55. Millhouses knocked off the runs for 4.

Chesterfield Barbarians went all out for the win declaring on 152-8 with Marriott accumulating 62. The declaration limited Fern to 5-59. In response Bakewell struggled to 64 all out. Skipper Nelis the pick of the bowlers with 4-21.

Grindleford continue to be consistently inconsistent. 6-24 from Burke limited them to 117 all out which was reached with relative ease by Ridgeway for the loss of 3 wickets. H Cartwright seeing them home with an unbeaten 58.

In Division 3 an unbeaten opening stand of 207-0 from Buckton (104*) and Dyson (100*) was enough for Hathersage II to declare on. Whittington Wanderers II closed on 151-6 with Platts helping out with a useful 71.
